Teacher Trainings and workshops

Our trainings and workshops focus on the of Model-based Approach to Language Teaching developed by the authors of the MagyarOK textbook series. The aim of the workshops is to reflect on the contents and methods of teaching Hungarian as a foreign language.
The workshops are based on active participation, they are highly practice-oriented but give also insights into the theoretical background of the Model-based Approach.

Online workshop

We warmly invite colleagues to our Reader to the MagyarOK textbook Workshop on the last day of winter.

This teacher-training session provides methodological guidance for teaching the Reader to the volumes of MagyarOK A1+ and A2+.

During the workshop, we will address the following topics:

Differences between the A1 and A2 Readers
How to work with longer texts
How to teach grammar and vocabulary together
How to show language learners what is frequent and what is typical
How to use variation to highlight linguistic forms
How to avoid letting form dominate content
Interactive group work with texts
Role plays in the language classroom
Teaching lexical units
Using expression cards
